OUTSTANDING YOUTH - John Puckett, a Barbour County 4-H member, has been recognized as an outstanding youth and active participant in Alabama’s beef industry by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, in partnering with the Southeastern Livestock Exposition as part of their support for the Alabama Junior Livestock Expo. John was nominated due his 4-H involvement and for his assistance in caring for his family cattle. He will receive a $250 cash award at the SLE Rodeo at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery in March.
