She was only 95 pounds, barely five feet tall, but a force to be reckoned with. A feisty, adorable, little woman graced our lives with her beauty, wit, and her wisdom. If you ever met Mamie Lee, you would hear her say, “I am 100 years old and 4, I’m blind in this eye and 30% in this one.” To be exact she was 100 years, 9 months, and 13 days. AMAZING!
The 36,781 days that she lived on this earth are a remarkable milestone and much to be admired by all. This incredible woman was born when Harding was President, she has lived through The Great Depression, WWII, The Korean War, Vietnam, and much more. These hard times not only influenced her life, her personality, but molded her into the wonderful person she was dedicated to God, her family, and friends.
