He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his brothers, Preston and Winston Spivey; his sister, Faye Spivey Casey; his wife, Glenda Faye Spivey; his stepdaughter, Kenneth Wayne Spivey, affectionately known as ‘KW’ and ‘Granddaddy’ to many, passed away peacefully, October 3, 2024, in Dothan Alabama at the age of 71. He was born in Blue Springs, Alabama, to John D. Spivey and Mary Gulledge Spivey. A devoted family man, Kenneth was full of love that he generously shared with everyone he met. Those blessed enough to meet him were honored to be in his presence. He was not a perfect man, but to those who knew him, he was as close to perfect as one could be. His kindness, gentleness, and unwavering devotion to his family will be deeply missed. Kenneth loved spending his free time in nature, finding peace and joy in the outdoors. His gentle spirit was a gift to all who knew him.
