Mrs. Kathleen Baker Greene, a resident of Opelika, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at East Alabama Medical Center. She was 67 years old.

Funeral Services were held Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church in Clayton, Alabama. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Kathleen was born September 10, 1954, in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of the late Robert Winnon Baker and Mildred Girdean Pippins Baker.

Kathleen graduated from Southern Union Community College with an associate degree in Nursing. She retired from Advanced Cardiovascular in Opelika.

She enjoyed flowers, gardening, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Opelika Sportsplex and The Church of the Highlands.

She is preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Winifred Foy and Juanita Greene.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Bobby Joe Greene; two daughters, Kathy Jo Greene of Opelika, AL, and Kelley Ann Bridges (Allen) of Opelika, AL; grandson, Eron Boone Bridges; brother, Kenneth Baker (Teresea) of Louisville, AL; three sisters, Robbie Pate (John) of Arlington, TX, Shirley Glisson of Waverly Hall, GA, and Judy McLaney (Darrell) of Ozark, AL.
