Employees at the Barbour County Courthouse in Clayton are working in multiple conditions ranging from electrical issues to mold and lighting conditions as noted by grand jurors who toured the facility recently. In the left picture, employees in the Probate Office have been creative by covering an electrical outlet with “Cousin Itt” from the Addams Family to keep employees from tripping over the outlet. “Cousin Itt” changes costumes with the season and is now outfitted for the upcoming July 4th holidays. The right picture shows exposed wiring also in the Probate Office.
