Mrs. Judy Baxter Settle of Fayetteville, Georgia, formerly of Clio, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2021. She was 67.

Graveside services were held 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Pea River Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Rev. Randy Adams officiated.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pea River Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Kenneth M. Williams, 150 Clio-Short Road, Louisville, AL 36048.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John David Settle of Fayetteville, Georgia; brother, Jeffrey Baxter (Janice) of Clio, nephew, Jeremy Baxter and a niece, Adrianne Baxter Spiller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Elise Baxter.

Born March 28, 1954, Mrs. Settle was a graduate of Troy State University with a double Master’s degree in secondary education. She taught college in the state of Georgia.
