Memorial services for Mr. James “Jimmy” Partin age 77, will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 2 P.M. in the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula, with Rev. Russ Robbins officiating. Burial will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery on a later date.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 until the service. Mr. Partin died Monday, July 10, 2023, at his residence in Eufaula, Al.

Born March 8, 1946, in Savannah, GA., he was the son of the late Foy and Margaret Greene. Mr. Partin graduated from the Eufaula High School Class of 1966, and he was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam in Reconnaissance. He received the Bronze Star Medal with “V” device. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Ann “Marti” Partin.

Survivors: His children Dusty Waylan, Dee Dee Hamrick, Romer Scott (Laurie), Shane Claffey, Phate Scott (Michelle); nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother Joseph Crosby (Nancy); sisters Joyce Pierce (Ward), Becky Snipes (Skip), Kay Watson (Max).

The Jack Powell Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Eufaula.
