Mr. James Floyd Caraway, a resident of Louisville, Alabama passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 71 years old.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Louisville City Cemetery in Louisville. Reverend Don Highland officiated with Glover Funeral Home of Clayton directing. The family received friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Glover Funeral Home Chapel in Clayton, Alabama.

James was born October 30, 1950 in Barbour County, Alabama the son of J.C. and Florence Baker Caraway. He graduated from Troy State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. James was a hardworking man and a devoted grandfather. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and hunting.

James was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Danny Caraway.

Survivors include lifetime companion, Connie Geter; son, Clint Caraway (Kip), Louisville; daughter, Deana Knipp, Valley; sister, Donna Caraway (Teresa), Louisville; and six grandchildren, Anakah Caraway, Ella Knipp, Kai Knipp, David Geter, Kaylee Geter, and Taylor Geter.
