HONORS FRIEND - Henry E. Miller is shown as he places a flower to an arrangement in memory of Eugene “Gene” Hamric of Louisville during the Alabama State Order of Police (FOP) Conference. Gene was a friend of Henry’s and a dedicated police officer for more than 50 years when he died. He passed away on Christmas Day 2024. Gene served as former Chief of Police in Louisville, retiring in 2023, and in other various capacities as a police officer. Henry placed the flower in front of the podium at the conference held over the past weekend at Gulf Shores. A flower was dedicated to the memory of each fallen FOP comrade in 2024 in Alabama. Henry represented Lake Eufaula Lodge #34 FOP at the State Conference.
