GRANT PRESENTATIONS - Each year the Alabama Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation makes grants available for classroom projects that integrate agriculture into curriculum areas during the school year. Meredith Campbell, Eufaula High School (EHS) teacher, was awarded a grant. Her special needs students, Tigers on Track, will raise and care for chickens under the guidance of Amanda Teixeira, EHS agriculture teacher. Kimber Fant, Eufaula Elementary School 4th grade teacher, was also awarded a grant and plans to purchase a hydroponic tower classroom garden for her students.
