EMERGENCY RESPONDERS BATTLE FIRE - Personnel from Clayton, Green’s Crossroads, Bakerhill and Texasville Fire Departments are shown on scene at a house fire at 601 County Road 25 near Clayton. In spite of their efforts, flames consumed the brick home where Karen Collins lived. They were dispatched about 5 p.m. Saturday to the scene. Ms. Collins stated that she believes the fire was electrical that started from wiring to a freezer.
