Fannie Beatrice Fenn Hall of Cleveland, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was 95 years old.
Mrs. Hall, affectionately nicknamed “Bea” was born in Clayton on June 20, 1928, to the late Mack and Julia Fenn. She was the sixth of eight children and the youngest daughter. She graduated from Barbour County Training School in Clayton in May 1947. Prior to graduating high school, she married her husband, Robert Edward Hall, Sr. She and her husband moved to Detroit, Michigan and then moved to and settled in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a member of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church for 69 years.
A Homecoming Celebration was held Saturday, January 20, at 10:00 a.m. from Olivet Institutional Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jawanza Karriem Colvin officiating. Family Hour was held at 9:30 a.m. Interment followed at Cleveland Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers were Tyrone Copeland, Cliff Ealy, Darral Gaffney, Bill Moore, Dr. Lorenzo Rashid and Andrew Washington. Honorary pallbearers were Donald Hill, Deacon Robert Stone, Dr. M.T. Miller and Dr. Carl P. Norman.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, Julia and Mack Fenn; former husband, Robert Edward Hall; siblings, Amanda (James) Ballard, Julia Elizabeth Meloneze Robinson, Elmon (Vincent) Falby, James Hoover (Geraldine) Fenn, Franklin “Bill” (Lorelle) Fenn and daughter-inlaw, Mary Hall. Left to cherish her loving memory are her son, Rev. Robert J. Hall and his wife, Vivian; sister-inlaw, Lorelle Fenn, Willie and Aaron, Juanita, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends and godchildren.
Arrangements were entrusted to E.F. Boyd and Son Funeral Home of Cleveland, Ohio.
