ELIZABETH ANN LYNN

Elizabeth Ann Lynn gained her heavenly wings peacefully at home Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 12 P. M., which was her favorite time of the day, surrounded by her family with her children holding her hands. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 1 P.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Stephen Doss officiated and burial followed in the Pond Bethel Church Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing. Born September 27, 1957, Mrs. Lynn was the daughter of the late Charlie Ray and Mary Elizabeth Smith Brooks. She was married to the love of her life, Paul, for 46 years. Together they loved and raised 5 children. Ann knew from the time she was 5 she wanted to be a nurse. She had a servant’s heart with a passion for taking care of others. She worked a full-time job while raising her children and going to college to persue her dream of becoming a nurse. Her selfless heart was apparent to everyone who met her. Her work ethic and dedication to her career was astounding. She instilled that in her children. After years of working in different nursing roles, she found her true calling at Crowne Health Care where she worked for 18 years. Crowne had a special place in her heart. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, cooking, taking care of her grand babies and most of all being with her family. Sunday dinners were her favorite time to bring everyone together. Ann was a true warrior the last few years due to sickness, but she never lost her faith or her fighting spirit. Her love for her Savior Jesus Christ was unwavering. Her loving spirit, giving heart and energetic personality will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband of 46 year,: Paul Lynn; her children, Michael (Morrie) Lynn, Tommy (Wendy) Lynn, Andy (Christy) Lynn, Amanda (Chris) Dasinger, Kimberly (Leonard) Pittman; 10 grandchildren: Heather Lynn, Ryann Lynn, Samantha Lynn (Drew) Price, Thomas Lynn, Will “Tater” Lynn, Bryce (Hunter) Lynn, Kelsie Lynn, Sophie Lynn, Mason Dasinger, Madalynn Dasinger; 3 great grandchildren, Mercy Ann Lynn, Kinslee Lynn, Adalynn Drew Price; 2 sisters, Betty Lanton, Brenda (Eddie) Forbes. Active pallbearers were Chris Dasinger, Bryce Lynn, Thomas Lynn, Will “Tater” Lynn, Leonard Pittman, Scott Greer.
