DELIVER AFGHANS - Carol Wade, a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), of Clayton and Zola Denson, RSVP Director from Eufaula is shown presenting Afghans to Julie Fortune, Director of River Oaks Assisted Living Facility in Eufaula. Mrs. Wade states “One day I was in the RSVP office and saw a pile of yarn in a corner. I picked it up and started crocheting. Others joined with me. Mrs. Denson thought it would be nice to give them to River Oaks.” Mrs. Wade, along with other retired RSVP members, crocheted each resident of the facility an afghan. Mrs. Fortune states, They “did a beautiful job. “Thank you (RSVP) from our River Oaks Family.”
