COURT SYSTEM DAY - Leadership Barbour Class XVIII held its Court System Day on Thursday, August 15. The group started at the Eufaula Courthouse with a tour conducted by Circuit Clerk Paige Smith and talked with her about her responsibilities. The group then visited District Judge Matt Horne’s traffic court and visited with him, Circuit Judge Burt Smithart, Assistant District Attorney Donnie Ezell; Juvenile Probation Officer Dexter Grimsley, and Drug Court Clerk Mary Moncrief. The class then traveled to Clayton where they ate lunch at the Dime Store Restaurant and afterwards toured the Clayton Courthouse with Probate Judge Susan Shorter. They visited with her and Revenue Commissioner Marshall Williams before traveling back to Eufaula. Ann Blondheim is director of Leadership Barbour.
