DODGES DEER

Deer crossing highways are the cause of many accidents in Barbour County such as was the case in the accident shown. This accident occurred recently on Highway 51 South near County Road 27 in Louisville. The female driver dodged a deer, lost control of the car and went up an embankment where the vehicle hit a few trees before coming back down. The driver was transported to Dale Medical Center in Ozark by Clayton Rescue Squad with non-life threatening injuries. Louisville police and Barbour County deputies also responded to the scene.
