Ingredients 10 to 12 ounces uncooked bow tie pasta 1 (9-ounce) bag chopped hearts of romaine 1/2 cup Caesar dressing 1 cup croutons Salt Pepper Cook pasta in salt water. Drain and rinse with cool water.

Two injured in head-on collision
Two drivers were injured in a head-on collision early Sunday morning on Highway 10, west of River Road, near Clio. According to Clio Police Captain Ricky Kennedy, Garenton Flowers was traveling east toward Clio and Jeff Dunegan was traveling toward Brundidge when the accident occurred about 4:18 Sunday morning.

Here's a thing about me - I love Brussels sprouts. Brussels sprouts are my very favorite vegetable, but that wasn't always the case. I didn't touch them when I was little, but not because I thought they were yucky. I had been told by other people since I could remember how disgusting sprouts were, so I just didn't think they were worth the trouble.

Inclement weather closes schools
Inclement weather rolled into Barbour County Tuesday which resulted in schools in the county either closing early or dismissing classes for the day. Thunderstorms began early Tuesday morning and a Tornado Watch was issued by the National Weather Service in Birmingham at 6:50 a.m.
Schedules for food box distributions released
Calvary Hope Center Food Bank will be distributing food boxes for the Town of Clio on Saturday, April 9, and the Town of Blue Springs has scheduled its Food Distribution on Saturday, April 16, during which residents of the town can receive one box per residential address.
Colleagues recall fond memories of ‘Sarge’ Vickers
Robert “Bobby” Vickers of Eufaula, the voice of the Eufaula Police Department for 33 years, died Wednesday, March 29, 2022 at his home after a brief illness. Vickers has given more than 40 years to his profession.
Applications open for ambassadors
Alabama 4-H ambassador applications are now open for high school sophomore, junior and senior 4-H members. Joy Scott, an Alabama Cooperative Extension System 4-H leadership specialist, is excited to start the search for new ambassadors to represent Alabama 4-H over the next school year.
