LAKESIDE TRACK TEAM WINS 2A CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

TRACK TEAM WINS - The Lakeside Lady Chiefs Track Team won the 2A State Championship last week and were runners-up for the entire AISA state track meet this past weekend in Gulf Shores. STAND OUT

STAND OUT - Freshman Anesia Eutsey pictured above stood out on the BCHS Track & Field recently when they participated in the Enterprise Invite # 4. She won second place in shot put getting a silver medal and also got third place in the discus throw gaining a bronze medal. This is her first year participating in track and is also a standout basketball player for the Lady Jaguars.

Jaguars move to Class 2A

The Barbour County High School Jaguars basketball team will be back with some old familiar foes since they have moved back up to Class 2A. The Alabama High School Athletic Association approved winter sports alignments for the next two seasons last week which included basketball.
