AL Youth Dove Hunt opens Aug. 15

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ (ADCNR) Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries (WFF) provides several youth dove hunt opportunities throughout the state each fall. A simple hunting setup combined with a fun, family-friendly atmosphere makes WFF’s youth dove hunts an ideal way to introduce young people to the outdoors.

BCHS Football Camp

ENJOY FOOTBALL - A group of youth, ages 6-18, are shown at Barbour County High School’s Big Peach Conference Football U Camp Saturday, July 9. Camp facilitators from Albany State University, Auburn University, Oklahoma Panhandle University, and other colleges were on hand to give the young participants throwing, kicking, catching and other skills to assist them in upcoming football season.

BCHS to host football camp this Saturday

Barbour County High School will host the Big Peach Conference Football U Camp in association with AYF (American Youth Football) this Saturday July 9th from 9-12 at Jaguar field. New BCHS head coach Daniell Powell and his staff are looking forward to this event and hopes players, the community and surrounding youth will come out and support this event.

BCHS Jaguars attend basketball camps

The Barbour County High Jaguar boys and girls basketball teams continue to stay busy during the summer in preparation for the upcoming season. The boys recently attended the Florida State University Seminoles team camp and the Smith Station High Panthers team camp. The girls attended the Auburn University Tigers team camp.
