New head coaches hired at BCHS
The Barbour County High Jaguars are overhauling its coaching staff for the upcoming school year. They will have three new head coaches in boys basketball, girls basketball and football.

ZaKwavis Johnson wins Gold Medal in hurdles
Barbour County High School junior ZaKwavis Johnson won the Class 2A 300-meter hurdles with a 41.59 time in leading the Jaguars to a 17th place finish with 141/2 points. The AHSAA (Alabama High School Athletic Association) State Track & Field finals took place in Cullman, Al.
Jaguars come up short with 26-0 loss
The Barbour County High Jaguar football team put up a good fight but came up short in a 26-0 loss to the Northside Methodist Academy Knights of Dothan. The game was played last Thursday night in Dothan at Rip Hewes Stadium.

Barbour County Jags prepare for spring game
The Barbour County High Jaguar football team has been working hard in preparation for its spring football game against the Class 3A Northside Methodist Academy Knights of Dothan. The Knights compete in Class 3A Region 2.
