Questions of Faith
In the book of Second Chronicles, when God asks Solomon whether he would have wealth or power or wisdom. The Bible says that Solomon asks for wisdom. In the Book of Proverbs, I read a lot of verses about wisdom. Today it seems to me that there is not a lot of wisdom around. I see many folks making bad decisions. I see a lot of foolish mistakes being made. I don’t consider myself to be a very smart or educated man. Is this something we need to pray for, as well as the other things we ask God to do?
Alabama’s new CHOOSE Act school choice program
Families can now apply online through the program’s website. Governor Kay Ivey announced Thursday that applications for Alabama’s new Education Savings Account (ESA) program, created under the CHOOSE Act, are officially open for the 2025-26 school year. Families can now apply online through the program’s website, with the application window open until April 7, 2025. Award notifications are expected to be sent to families in May 2025.
