Who is the Greatest?
I have been wanting to ask this question, but I have been reluctant to do so. My question is based on a discussion I had with some friends about several people in the Bible. We talked about who was the greatest person in the Bible, next to Jesus, of course. I said it was Peter. One friend said he thought it was Paul. Another said he thought King David was the greatest.

Who’s you ‘Sweetheart?’
When my nine-year-old daughter, Rebekah, asked me recently if 'I texted my friends when I was kid?' I had to pause, shake my head and laugh. Her query, however, also made me thoughtful… 'Why, yes,' I told her. 'Matter of fact, I did!

Last week was a different experience for us at The Record when our printers in Bainbridge could not print the newspaper nor could we get there to bring them back to us to place in the mail. The Winter Storm of 2025 halted everything shutting down businesses and roads declared impassable.
The More You Know about PBMs
FOURTEEN CENTS. Today I filled a prescription for a patient and was reimbursed a grand total of fourteen cents. The label cost 6 cents. The bottle cost 55 cents. Not to mention the cost of the medication itself. And it goes in a bag. Those aren’t free. There’s also the cost of my tech’s time to read it, type it, and count it. Oh and I’m supposed to counsel the patient on 27 aspects of the drug and how to use it….with the degree I paid $100,000 for. I pay a cashier to provide exceptional customer service. And all of that is worth a grand total of FOURTEEN CENTS.
