75 YEARS AGO OCTOBER 8, 1948 A tough, fierce tackling and hard charging band of “Tigers” from Clayton High School completely outclassed the Eufaula “B” team 27-0 in a game in Eufaula Thursday night. Scoring touchdowns for the Tigers were “Tubby” Daniel, “Bones” Williamson, Joe Warr and Vernon Green.
