When is enough, enough? The law-abiding citizens of Clayton have continuously complained about the excessive noise and the dangerous situation caused by off-road vehicles on the streets in Clayton. These complaints have been to no avail.

Maybe we need to return to the old fashion way of delivering mail - the pony express! Yes, it seems that we get calls on a regular basis from subscribers not receiving their newspaper on a timely basis. Some say it’s days or weeks for their paper to arrive.

Classrooms are back open for a new school term and we are just getting beyond the “Dog Days of Summer” that officially ended August 11. Teachers and administrators are getting adjusted with new students while the students are settling in after a seemingly short summer vacation from school.
