Ernestine Norton, 98, longtime Kansas City, Missouri resident, passed away at her home on November 23, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born on April 9, 1925 in Clayton, Alabama to Ernest W.

Franklin Delane Wilkinson, 90, of Haines City, Florida passed away December 30, 2023. Born December 28, 1933 to Hazey and Leila Wilkinson in Blue Springs, Alabama, Delane was an honorable man whose entire life was dedicated to his family and helping others. Delane was a produce truck driver and moved from Blue Springs to Haines City in 1968. Delane’s Truck Brokerage of Haines City, FL was established in 1975 and is still in operation by the family. He was known in the trucking and produce business as a man who always did the right thing by everyone.

Brenda Gale Dykes Williams of Headland (formerly of Louisville), passed away in a Dothan hospital on January 13, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 24, 1955.

Sammie Gay (Gibbons) Cooper, a resident of Dothan, Alabama ,passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at Extendicare Health. She was 91 years old.

Ruby Jean Green Johnson, a resident of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Chatuge Regional Hospital in Hiawassee, Georgia. She was 90 years old.

Patricia “Prissy” Warr Baker, age 71, of St Simons Island, GA went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 19, 2023. Prissy had such a vivacious spirit and joyful presence.

Ricky Lee Clark, a resident of Georgetown, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula, Alabama He was 61 years old. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.

In case you sensed the universe was slightly less luminous recently and were not sure of its cause, on Saturday, the 11th of November 2023, a bright light was removed from our eyeline. Gail Martin Whigham, 90 years of age, passed through death into her eternal home in Heaven. For her, we are thrilled. For us, we hold heavy hearts. She will be missed.
