William Scott, senior consultant with Tristatz, announced at Monday night’s Clayton City Council meeting that a Ground Breaking Ceremony will be held Thursday, March 27, at 10:00 a.m. for the new Emergency Medical Services Facility located on Reed Avenue next to the municipal complex. After looking at several options for a site for the construction of a new facility for the Emergency Medical Services, the decision was made to build a new facility located next to the municipal complex.
Rehabilitations are being made to six sewer lift stations in Clayton. The work has been made possible thanks to a grant received from American Rescue Plan Act funds made available through the Alabama Department of Environmental Management’s State Revolving Fund Program.
