Clayton’s road projects come in under budget
The Clayton City Council voted Monday during a special called meeting to approve a resolution to amend a Community Development Block Grant awarded for street improvements in 2023. The grant funds in the amount of $400,000 in addition to the town’s match in the amount of $122,318 were used for street improvements to benefit principally low and moderate income persons along North Armory Street, Oak Avenue, Jennings Street, Westfield Court and Petty Drive.
