Leaving to attend the University of Alabama was Raymond Dominey.

75 YEARS AGO AUGUST 13, 1948 Dewey Clyde Ammons, Louisville 4-H Club member, will be captain of the Barbour County All-Stars when they play the Clio 4-H Club, who are the county champions, in the 2nd Barbour County All-Star game which is to be played in Clayton on Wednesday night, August 25. He is considered one of the best young baseball players in this section of the State.
