Children will get their creative juices flowing at Clayton Baptist Church’s Vacation Bible School June 13-17. The theme of this year’s VBS is: Sparks Studios: Created in Christ, Designed for God’s Purpose.
The Clayton Seniors were traveling again on a terrific early summer day at Blue Springs State Park on Thursday, May 19th. A day of good food, lots of laughs and a really nice breeze was enjoyed by 23 seniors and staff.

BRIDE-ELECT HONORED AT BRUNCH - Caitlyn Brown, bride-elect of Turner Bowdoin, was honored Saturday, May 14 with a Brunch/Shower at the home of Michelle Beaty in Clayton. Other hostesses were several friends of the bride. Upon arrival guests were served Mock Mimosas on the front porch. Guests dined on an array of Breakfast foods outside on the deck. Approximately 40 guests attended.
An additional $5 million awarded by the Alabama Legislature for dual enrollment opportunities at Alabama’s community colleges will continue to increase the number of students who benefit from college classes while still in high school. In many cases, high school students are graduating with their associate degree either before or shortly after earning their high school diploma.

On Thursday, May 12, members of the Eufaula Capt S. H. Dent United Daughters of the Confederacy, were asked to join the Dothan William C. Oaks Chapter meeting of the United Daughters of the Confederacy to install new chapter officers for the term 2022-2024.
