Myeshia Moreland and Adrian Howard, both seventh graders at Barbour County High School, are the first two recipients of a new program called Character in Action. The program is being sponsored by the Barbour County Juvenile Court System and the Barbour County Children’s Policy Counsel.

Eufaula Carnegie Library will host author, Jackie Nix, for a presentation and book signing for her children’s book Modern Farms on September 6 at 6:30 p.m. Modern Farms introduces children to the farm-to-store journey of many of their favorite foods while teaching about the specialized farms where they grow.

Wallace Community College recently announced the Summer 2022 Semester President's List.The President's List is compiled at the end of each semester. Students named to the President's list must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of college level coursework with a grade point average of 4.0.
