ANNUAL FLU CLINIC The Barbour County Health Department will have their annual Flu Clinic on October 11, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

SHAUN CANFIELD The members of the VFW Post 5850 and the Auxiliary conducted a Remembrance Ceremony in downtown Eufaula on September 20, 2024. The Ceremony was held to honor those who are not able to sit with us.

Members of the volunteer organization, Power of 100, approved their financial support for the third quarter to Southern Souls Animal League Pet Shelter. Southern Souls is an organization that helps pets in need.
Clayton Police Chief Edward O. Hardy completed 80 hours of the Certified Law Enforcement Executive Program. The announcement was recently made by Kaleb Littlejohn, Director of the Center for Best Practices in Law Enforcement at Jacksonville State University and UPACE Partner.
Pastor Randy Adams along with Group 31 Women’s Director Denise Webster and the congregation at Calvary Assembly of God invite you to join them for their “Harvest of Hope Women’s Conference”. The Conference will be held on September 14 – 15, 2024.

The United Daughters of the Confederacy, General Edmond Winchester Rucker #2534 Chapter, met in The Gathering Room in downtown Enterprise, Thursday August 15 at 10:30 AM. The meeting was called to order by Chapter President Patsy Stephens. The salute to the Christian, American, Alabama and Confederate flags and the ritual were recited and invocation given.

Services will resume at the Barbour County Health Department in Clayton beginning August 28. Initially WIC services will be offered on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
