The women of Evergreen Baptist Church held a brunch on Saturday, March 25, at 11:00 a.m. at the home of Wanda and Charles Sewell in Clayton. A delicious menu of crab cakes, spring salad, grape and kiwi chicken salad on croissants, fruit, cheese and a yummy brownie dessert was served.

Dr. Frederick D. Sherrod, Presiding Elder of the Dothan-Eufaula District AME Church has announced plans for the district’s 2023 Good Friday service. Jones Chapel AME Church in Clayton will serve as the host church for this annual service. The service will be held at noon on Friday, April 7th. Dothan-Eufaula District ministers slated to preach during the service are as follows: Rev. Fred Flowers, Pastor of Parks Chapel AME Church - Dothan, Rev. Celeste Adams, Pastor of Stringer Street AME Church - Dothan, Rev. Joshua Mann, Pastor of St. Peter AME Church Headland, Rev. Annie Mays, Pastor of Freemount AME Church - Bakerhill, Rev. Timothy Holmes, Pastor of Tabernacle & Shiloh AME Church - Clayton and Bro. Derrick Tiller, Supply Pastor of Collins Chapel AME Church in New Brockton, Al.
MayTag Virgin, will be presented at The Red Door Theatre in Union Springs April 20-23. This is the Red Door’s first production of the Theatre’s 20th year celebration.

Parents of Barbour County High School students will have an opportunity to participate in a Parenting Workshop. The workshop will be held Thursday, March 30 at the school from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Have you ever found a skull in the woods and wondered what it was? Are you looking for something fun to do during spring break? The library has you covered! Eufaula Carnegie Library is hosting a skull identification workshop led by local residents Bill and Linda Elkins. Their presentation will teach the basics of identifying animal skulls.
A fun time will be had by all who are competing as well as those who are spectators who attend the first Ag Olympics. Competitions that are sure to bring excitement will take place at the Yoholo Micco Walking Trail in Eufaula this Thursday, March 23.
