Mrs. Kirkland receives Main Street award
Corey Kirkland, owner of Southern Charm in Eufaula, was recipient of the 2021/2022 Main Street Alabama Hero Award during the Pilgrimage events during the past weekend. Ann Sparks, Eufaula Director of Main Street, made the presentation.
Inmate at Easterling prison hospitalized after assault
An Easterling Correctional Facility inmate is in a Dothan hospital after being assaulted by another inmate on Saturday April 1 at the Barbour County facility in Clio. The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m., according to an Alabama Department of Corrections spokesperson.
Local students named to Troy Provost’s List
Troy University has released the names of students who have been named to the Provost’s List for Term 3 of the 2022-2023 academic year. Local students included on the list are Tynisha Kerby and Kaylee Hawthorne, both of Eufaula.
EHS Theatre Department to present Grease April 14 & 15
Lights! Camera! Action! You are in for a treat with Grease presented by the Eufaula High School (EHS) Theatre Department. After approximately one hundred hours of practice and three weeks to complete the set, Grease will take place at the Eufaula City Auditorium on April 14th at 7 p.m.
