Special Edition planned to honor 2023 graduates
The Clayton Record’s annual Graduation Edition is scheduled to be published next Thursday, May 18. The special edition will feature graduates from all schools in Barbour County.
Pike Museum to hold re-enactment of The Battle of Hobdy’s Bridge
Pike Museum, located at 248 US Highway 231 N, Troy is holding “Thunder on the Three Notch” on May 12-13. This event is set during the Creek War of 1836. The Battle of Hobdy’s Bridge will be re-enacted both days at 2:00 p.m. Living history will be at1:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day. Demonstrations and music each day. Admission is required. Call 334- 566-3597 for more information. This event is made possible with a grant from Sweet Home Alabama. Food Trucks will be on site each day.

During Eufaula City Schools’ April board meeting, the board recognized Kyla Richardson, a sophomore at Eufaula High School, and David Paffumi, the marketing teacher and DECA advisor at Eufaula High School.
