MARCH IN PARADE

MARCH IN PARADE - The Eufaula High School Band is shown marching in the 2022 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Chicago on March 12. When band members left their hotel the temperature was 11 degrees and when they were marching in the parade it was 18 degrees!

Child’s life remembered for ‘goodness in him’

A grieving community is asking “why” after the body of a 12-year-old was pulled from Barbour Creek last Tuesday night, March 22, in Eufaula. “Why” did Zyrion Harris, a student at Admiral Moorer Middle School, not go home after school? “Why” did he go to Barbour Creek? “Why” did this tragedy occur? Eufaula Police Chief Steve Watkins reports a 911 call was made at 5:20 p.m.
