During Eufaula High School’s graduation ceremonies for the 2025 graduates on Friday night,May 23, the Valedictorian and Salutatorian were honored. Ceremonies were held at Tiger Stadium.

Eufaula Carnegie Library to host computer program
Eufaula Carnegie Library will host a computer security program: Digital Citizenship on Tuesday, June 17, at 6:00 p.m. This hour-long event will be held in the library’s auditorium.
Patrons support cosmetology event
The Cosmetology Department and Jag Styles would like to send a very special thank you to everyone who supported their event last week. Some people stopped by and got pampered and others gave donations and heartfelt words of support, and so to that a thank you is extended for entrusting in the students of Jag Styles aka Cosmetology Department.
Free fishing day slated for June 7
Each year, the Alabama Department and Natural Resources designates a “Free Fishing Day” for the public to fish recreationally in public waters without a fishing license. This year’s Free Fishing Day is June 7.
Tyra hired as new BCHS head football coach
Robin Tyra, a former head coach at Abbeville and Ashford, has been hired as Barbour County's new head football coach at a recent board meeting. Tyra replaces Derrick Levett, who resigned in January.
