Justin Denson, a 43- year-old inmate at Ventress Correctional Facility, Clayton, has died according to a statement released from the Alabama Department of Corrections. According to the statement, Denson was found unresponsive by staff at Ventress Correctional Facility on Tuesday, May 17.

An arrest has been made in the death of a Clio man that occurred Sunday afternoon in Brundidge, according to Brundidge Police Chief Sam Green. ZaKevin Kawonte Pennngton, 18, of Brundidge was arrested Tuesday without incident and charged with murder.
