Contractor to oversee elevator project

Barbour County commissioners will contract with a consultant to advise them on the best way to repair the nonfunctional elevator in the county courthouse in Clayton. They met in a special called meeting Monday morning during which they discussed procedures to take to repair the elevator that has been inoperable for several months.

This week is one of the most meaningful season in the Christian calendar. Easter week observances that include Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection of Christ and the Risen Lord on Sunday.
