Medical Service to offer EMT classes virtually

Individuals interested in public safety such as those working or wishing to work with a fire department, an ambulance service,as an emergency service technician or a police officer ie being offered the opportunity to attend the Emergency Medical Technician Program via Distance Learning. Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, June 26 and continue through September 26. Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Southeast Alabama Emergency Medical Services Council, Inc. is offering these classes for students to attend lectures from any location with internet connection. Tests, however, must be taken at a site with a supervisor present. Skills must be conducted at a sponsoring EMS agency or the SEAEMS Training Center located at 2323 West Main Street in Dothan.

CherryRoad Media has once again printed this popular guide that includes listings that are available in the area. We have some here at The Record office and will distribute them in other areas. Also, they are available in various locations in Eufaula. ****** Monday holidays!!! Last Monday was Memorial Day, this week we had Jefferson Davis’ birthday and then on June 19, we have a new federal holiday, Juneteeth. Meanwhile, the presses continue to roll and Tuesday is our deadline so most Monday holidays we are in the office working. We want to continue providing our readers with local news!
