We appreciate our postal carrier in Clayton who takes the newspapers to Montgomery on Wednesday afternoon and is so kind to drop off subscribers’ copies in Louisville, Clio and Ariton when he stops at these locations enroute. However, when that does not happen, the papers go to Montgomery and then have to come back to the respective post offices. Well, that happened last week and the papers were not in the post offices to be put up in boxes and delivered Thursday morning. We had to chase them down to find out why they were not delivered Thursday but rather some people got their copy Friday and some Saturday. We have gotten spoiled by this special attention and wanted to let those who were later than usual getting their paper, the reason why. We also deliver subscriber copies to the post office in Eufaula ourselves so they will be ready for delivery Thursday morning. We do our best to expedite delivery but sometimes, it’s out of our hands. We deeply appreciate all who are subscribers, advertisers and supporters. You keep us going!
