Think before not getting permit

Pistol permits will no longer be required to carry a concealed handgun in Alabama as of January 1, 2023. The bill passed and signed into law drew opposition from sheriffs and police across the state, who said the permit requirement helped protect the public and helped prevent and solve crimes.

Tornado causes property damages

“I am counting my blessings,” Joe Drawdy said after a tornado ripped the roofs off four chicken houses on his farm early Wednesday morning, November 30. That’s because the 21-day-old chicks were relocated to another farm and the tornado missed a cabin by 400 feet and missed his home by 100 feet after traveling west across his pasture.
