Called to serve the church

I have been involved in my church for 30 years. I have served in various capacities, assisting my pastor, teaching Sunday school, chairman of the deacons, president of the Brotherhood. I have even been on a short-term mission trip. I have always felt satisfied in what I have done, but now I’m wondering if I should have gone into pastoral ministry. I do not think that would have been right, but I do not want my years of service wasted. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Altercation breaks out at BCHS

A Barbour County High School student was transported by ambulance after sustaining injuries in an altercation Monday morning. Law enforcement officers and Clayton Rescue were dispatched to the school in Clayton about 11 a.m. where students were reported in an altercation in the front hallway of the school. The incident reportedly involved about 10 students and school officials posted on social media that the incident was “quickly resolved and under control.”
