Woman arrested with synthetic Fentanyl

An officer with the Eufaula Police Department’s Patrol Division had probably cause to establish contact with a silver Honda passenger vehicle on Eufaula Avenue on Friday, April 7. Upon contact with the driver, further probably cause initiated a search of the vehicle where a baggie containing tablets and numerous loose tablets were discovered.

Audit cites White Oak VFW

A Special Report on the White Oak Volunteer Fire Department was recently conducted by the Alabama Department of Examiners of Public Accounts for the period January 1, 2019 through August 31, 2022 The report shows that ineligible and/or undocumented purchases were made from restricted funds of the Fire Department. Official demand was made on the former Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chiefs to refund $106,312.52 of which all except $52,133.38 was granted relief.
