ARTHUR ROBERTSON III

Arthur Borders Robertson III, age 71, of Tuscaloosa, AL died August 19, 2025 at his residence. Private funeral services will be held.
He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, A. B. Robertson, Sr. and Minnie Greene Robertson; maternal grandparents, Ben R. Martin, Sr. and Nell G. Martin and brother-in-law, Tommy Jackson.
Survivors include his daughters, Lindsay Robertson Cook and husband, Daniel Bedford Cook III of Tuscaloosa and Casey Robertson McDow and husband, Dustin Coe McDow of Moundville; sister, Lynn Robertson Jackson of Atlanta, GA; brother, John Foster Robertson and wife, Nancy of Clayton; four grandchildren, Macy Greer McDow, Mackey Borders McDow, Joseph Rhodes Cook and Mary Foster Cook; the mother of his children, Cheryl W. Robertson of Tuscaloosa; niece, Katie Jackson; nephew and God son, Will Jackson and best friend, Greg Murray.
Arthur was born November 21, 1953 in Eufaula, Alabama to late Arthur Borders Robertson, Jr. and Mozelle Martin Robertson. He had a Master’s degree from the University of Alabama in learning disabilities, a degree as an education specialist and an administration degree. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and a devoted special education teacher for over 30 years. Arthur developed and grew the soccer program at Central High School where he served as Head Varsity Coach for a number of years. While in high school, Arthur served as a page in Congress for one year for Senator John Sparkman. He was a loving father and was incredibly proud of his four grandchildren.
