The scholarship recipients were named Saturday during the Eufaula Pilgrimage at Shorter Mansion. Ella Grace Bradley, Eliza Eriksen and De’Jiah Williams were in a three-way tie in the votes cast by the judges for the second and third place winners. It was decided to award 2/3 of a scholarship to the three winners. Since the Anmarie Barrie Honan scholarships were established in 2014, 39 $1,000 scholarships have been awarded to deserving Barbour County students. Honan said, “We had, by far, the best group of applicants we have ever had. They were all truly outstanding.”
