ALEA GOES TO WASHINGTON - A select number of state troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency left on January 19 to assist agencies in Washington D.C. at President Donald Trump’s Inauguration held on Monday, January 20. They were there to assist local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to maintain security and ensure a safe environment for the attendees. The inauguration was moved inside due to the arctic blast that blanketed most of the country. One state trooper that was among those that assisted is Trooper Allen Knight of Barbour County, pictured fourth from the right.
