ADMINISTERED OATH OF OFFICE - Susan Shorter is shown being administered the oath of office by District Judge Matt Horne to begin her third six-year term as Barbour County Probate Judge. Mrs. Shorter was elected to the position in 2012 and re-elected in 2018 and
2024. Her new term officially begins January 21. She was elected secretary of the Alabama Probate Judge’s Association last year.
