Six cadets from Barbour County High School recently attended the JROTC Leadership Challenge (JCLC), a summer camp program designed to enhance leadership, teamwork, and citizenship skills among Army JROTC cadets. It provides hands-on, physically and mentally challenging environments, where cadets participate in activities like rappelling, obstacle courses, and team-building exercises. JCLC aims to prepare cadets for leadership roles within their JROTC programs and beyond. Cadets showing their course certificates are Anika Williams, Jasiyah Howard, Samaya Eaton, Shyeisha Pearison, Winter Williamson, Zampardi Walton and Jasiyah Howard, who was recognized as Cadet of the Day the first day.
