Leadership Barbour Class XVIII spent the day in Montgomery on April 10 as the guests of Senator Billy Beasley. The morning was started by a welcome from Senator Beasley and Representative Berry Forte. The class then met with Senate Minority Leader Bobby Singleton, Medicaid Agency Director Henry Davis, Department of Human Resources Chief of Staff Stan Landers, Drew Harrell from the Governor’s Office, and Workforce Development Commissioner Greg Reed. The class visited the Senate and House galleries to see the legislature in action. After a lunch with Senator Beasley, the group had a guided tour of the Capitol. A special thanks to Rebecca Beasley and Senator Beasley’s assistant, Doretha Ivy, who arranged and coordinated the visit.
