Aaron Ronald Allen, 85, of Plant City, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025. Born on September 1, 1939 in Plant City, Florida, Aaron was a beloved member of the community, known for his unwavering dedication to his work, his service, and his family.
A graduate of Turkey Creek High School in 1956, Aaron was recognized early on for his mechanical talent and strong work ethic. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1957, proudly serving as an aircraft mechanic until his honorable discharge in 1963.
Following his military service, Aaron built a successful career in the ironworking industry as a respected member of Iron Workers Local 397. Known for his exceptional craftsmanship and commitment to safety, he earned the admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
Aaron was also a devoted father. He is survived by his sons, Stephan Ronald Allen and David Henry Allen, and is preceded in death by his son, JeƯery Thorton Allen and wife Anita E. Allen.
In his younger years, Aaron worked as a farmer and cherished the outdoors, spending countless hours hunting and fishing— passions he carried with him throughout his life. His loyalty, hearty laugh, and passion for his family and his country left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He loved sharing stories of his time in the service and was always eager to lend a hand or share his knowledge.
A service to celebrate Aaron’s life was held at 2 p.m., Friday 31st January 2025 at Shiloh Word Fellowship Church, 3498 Hwy 10, Clio AL 36017. The family received friends at the church one hour prior to the services. Rest in peace, Aaron Ronald Allen.
